A controlling father like this one is making his kids stay dependent on him because he doesn't respect them. How will they ever learn to live their own lives if he insists on controlling them?

From day one if this was the case we’d have more respectful people. We started out by asking our infant children is this okay? At first no big deal I don’t care if potatoes or pasta, but always for everything asking the kids, for permission is crazy once grown! this is immediate consequence to poor behavior.
